BRUCE ERIC GARRETT Age 61, passed away unexpectedly, on December 11, 2012 from complications of diabetes. Son of the late George Garrett, Sr. and Ruth Garrett. He is survived by his daughter, Erika Gentry Lagana; grandson, Micah Lagana; sisters, Janice Caracter and Denise Marshall; brothers, George, Jr., Melvin, Lawrence, Ronald, and Jerome Garrett; and a host of nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held in Bruce's honor at THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME, 7441 Washington Avenue, Swissvale, PA 15218, on Sunday, January 20, 2013, with friends received at 2 p.m. and the service to follow at 2:30 p.m. www.niedfuneralhome.com
