Obituary of Anne Stewart

ANNE (BALIUKAS) STEWART Age 64, of Swissvale, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 22, 2012, after a courageous fight for life. Loving sister of Theo Lasinski and her husband Gary of Mars, PA; devoted and proud aunt to Brian Lasinski and Stephanie Lasinski, who meant more to her than anything in the world. She was looking forward to spoiling Michael Van Heyst (Stephanie's fiance). Daughter of the late Louis and Carmella (Mianzo) Baliukas, who she is now reunited with in Heaven. Anne is survived by special family members including Aunt Margie, Carmie, and Anna Marie, and many dear cousins and close friends. Anne was a popular hair stylist for years downtown. She was the family historian and loved music, reading, cooking, collecting, and volunteering. Anne was always thinking of others and that is why she is loved by so many. Memories are one gift from God that nothing can destroy. Friends received FRIDAY ONLY 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7441 Washington St., Swissvale.
