GERALDINE M. (DEVINE) VASSIL On Sunday, December 23, 2012, of Swissvale. She was the beloved wife of the late John R. Vassil; loving mother of Michael J. Vassil and his wife, Leona of Lawrenceville, Diane M. Bennett and her husband, Edward of Swissvale, and the late Gary; grandmother of Kaitlin Lyons and her husband, Aaron, Jacob Vassil and Lacey Bennett; great- grandmother of Shane and Nicole; sister of the late Jack, Cathy, Patrick and Helen. Friends received 2-8 FRIDAY ONLY at the THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7441 Washington St., Swissvale. A Parastas Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 3 p.m. A Mass will be held in the Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Braddock on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. www.niedfuneralhome.com
