AUGUST FONTANESI Age 81, on Saturday, January 19, 2013 of Swissvale. Beloved husband of 50 years to Mary (Cuccaro) Fontanesi; brother of Ramo Fontanesi (Donna) of Sutersville, PA, Yolanda Orsini of Sutersville, PA, and the late Delina Pappafava, Edith Danny, and Ida Layman; son of the late August and Marietta Fontanesi; also many loving nieces and nephews. August served his country proudly in the Army during the Korean War, was a lifetime member of the VFW West Newton and was the co-owner of the Fontanesi Motor Service in Sutersville, PA. Friends received Tuesday 2-8 p.m. at the THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7441 Washington St., Swissvale. Blessing Service at the funeral home Wednesday 11 a.m. www.niedfuneralhome.com
