Obituary of George J. Stephan

On Saturday, July 27, 2013 of Swissvale. Beloved husband of 67 years to Laura (Skrocki) Stephan; loving father of Tim Stephan and his wife, Mary Lou of Huntington Beach, CA, Barbara McGrath and her husband, Bill of Upper St. Clair, Patty Truchok and her husband, Dave of O'Hara. George is survived by his seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brother of Bernard Stephan and his late wife, Peggy and Robert Stephan and his wife, Theresa; also survived by his nieces and nephews. Mr. Stephan retired after 45 years as an inspector with the former Union Switch & Signal Co. Friends received 2-8 p.m. SUNDAY ONLY at the THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7441 Washington St., Swissvale.
