Obituary of Dennis Jozwiak

Dennis Jozwiak of Swissvale, passed away Monday, December 19th after a struggle with cancer. Dennis (70) graduated from The Saint Anselm High School and retired from the Woodland Hills School District in 2019. He is survived by his brother Edward (Laurel) Jozwiak of Clarkston, Mi, niece Jennifer Mills of College Station, Tx, and two nephews, Christopher (Erin) Jozwiak of Oakland, Ca and Tom (Wendy) Watson of Pittsburgh, Pa. Dennis had numerous cousins in the Pittsburgh area, in particular, Tom (Cathy) Jozwiak of Harwick, Pa. He had several great nephews – Jordan Mills, Jack, August and Oscar Jozwiak. He is predeceased by his sister, Diane (Ed) Trusnovic, his mother Elizabeth, father Edward L Jozwiak Sr., and twin brother, James. Along with family members, Denny had many close buddies throughout his life. A special thanks to Phil Diana, Tom (Saf) Saffran, John (Stretch) and Lyn Mulroy, Bev and Jay Kelly, Paul Carr, Mike Patton, Bill Johnson, Tim Voelker, Tom and Maggie Judge and many other friends and good neighbors for their camaraderie and loving care they provided Dennis over the years. Den was an active member of Word of God church. He was an avid fan and supporter of all Pittsburgh sports teams and was blessed to be a good player of all sports. Dennis leaves us with many fond memories and will be sorely missed. A memorial service will be held at Nied's Funeral Home in Swissvale in 2023.
