Cynthia Cindy" Ann (Marchese) Hawthorne

Age 74, of Monroeville, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022. Beloved wife, of 56 years, to Lee Hawthorne; sister of Gerard (Vivian) Marchese; loving mother of Kimberly (Carlos) Lo Tito, and Michael (Bridget) Hawthorne; adoring "Grammy" of Zack, Katrina, Dino, and Gabriella. She was preceded in death, by her parents, Gerardo and Helen Marchese. Cindy will be greatly missed by her family and close friends; Paula Hawthorne, Patrick (Amanda) Marchese, Nicole Marchese, Nico and Mila Marchese, and her beloved Puddin "the pug" Hawthorne. Cindy enjoys being around her friends and family, cooking big Italian dinners. In recent years, Cindy found a love for camping and enjoyed playing bingo and socializing with friends. She also spent time gardening and working though her ever-growing list of clothes to alter for others. Cindy will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Friends received Sunday only from 2-8 p.m. at the Thomas L. Nied Funeral Home, Inc. 7441 Washington Street, Swissvale. Mass of Christian Burial, in the St. Bernadette, Roman Catholic Church, on Monday, at 10 a.m. EVERYONE TO PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
