Robert W. "Bob" Fitzgerald 1944-2022
On July 15, 2022, Robert "Bob" Fitzgerald passed away. Born on September 21, 1944, Bob was best known for his many years of working as a Manufacturer's representative in the Plumbing & Mechanical Industry. He loved Pittsburgh and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers the most. He loved playing golf and watching professional golf. He was fortunate to meet the late, great, Arnold Palmer. He was preceded in death by his father Milton and mother Mary. He is survived by, his ex-wife, Susan Fitzgerald (McKay), his three sons and daughter; Robert Fitzgerald Jr. (Laurie), Christopher Fitzgerald (Jennifer), Scott Fitzgerald (Sheri), and Jill Calkins (Doug). Grandchildren Kylie, Scott Jr, Colin, Trinity, Dylan, Will, Lydia & Benny. Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. at the Thomas L. Nied Funeral Home, Inc. 7441 Washington Street, Swissvale, where a Blessing and military ceremony will immediately follow at 4 p.m. www.niedfuneralhome.com
