Michael Joseph Lopez

Age 84, of Verona, PA passed away on June 9, 2022, with his wife by his side. Mike was born on August 17, 1937 to Antoinette and Miguel Lopez, in Pittsburgh, PA. After Mike graduated from high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of Carpenters' Local #165 were he retired from after 30 years of service. He was married to his loving wife Elaine for 52 years. He has 5 children Linda (Ray) Garlitz of Plum, Michael (Marion) Lopez of Germany, James (Heather) Hart of Monroeville, Jeffrey (Elaine) Lopez of Monroeville, and Richard Lopez of Huffman, TX. He is survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Catherine Felser and Mary Lou Nolan. He loved the Marine Corps and trains of all kinds. Friends received 2-7 P.M. SUNDAY ONLY at the THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME INC. 7441 Washington Street, Swissvale.
