On Friday, May 27, 2022,resident of the Trimont, on Mt. Washington, formerly of Edgewood. Loving father of Lisa A. Dimakopoulos and her husband John of State College, Ronald B. George of Edgewood, Marti L. Spineti and her husband Joel of Connecticut, and Sarah L. Taylor and her husband Scott of Colorado. Devoted and caring grandfather of Jason, James, Laura, and Camy. James was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He was a veteran of PA Air National Guard. Jim retired from Mellon Bank. He was also a 32nd Degree Mason. James enjoyed traveling in his later years. He had a special fondness for the Rivers Casino, where he made many friends. Cowboy Jim, as he was known, was an enthusiastic fan of country music. The family would like to give a special thanks to Jim's caregivers, Gina Vacek, Kirstie Frisco, and Donna Dengler, whose loving care, service and devotion went above and beyond anything the family could have ever hoped for. The funeral is private by request of the family.
