Norma Jean Provenzano

Age 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 with her loving family by her side. She was the devoted wife of the late James Provenzano, Jr., for 54 years. Born November 14, 1939 in North Braddock, PA; the daughter of the late John and Susie (Cincarick) Golmic.

Norma was a dedicated homemaker, wife and mother to her cherished three daughters. She raised her family on West Hill Lake in New Hartford, CT. She was an excellent cook, loved baking and was a shopper extraordinaire. She worked for many years at Ann Antolini School in New Hartford, CT and the Beardsley Memorial Library in Winsted, CT. She was a communicant of the local Catholic Church, Immaculate Conception. Norma also loved traveling and spending time with her grandchildren who fondly called her "Gma." Her daughters feel blessed to have had such a role model demonstrating a life full of faith, family and friends! She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.

She is survived by three daughters, Susan Marie Carnegie and husband Paul of NV, Tisha Dodge and husband Dave of MA and Pam Adams of VA; grandchildren, Paul Carnegie, Jr., James Carnegie, Amanda Hubbard, Chris Adams, Tori Adams, Derek Dodge and Jessica Dodge; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son-in-law, Dr. Mike Adams; and siblings, Ann Bohin, Margaret "Peg" Macara and Andrew "Lutz" Golmic.

Family and friends may gather on Saturday, June 4 2022 at 10 am at the Thomas L Nied Funeral Home in Swissvale prior to procession to All Saints Braddock Catholic Cemetery where a final blessing will be given at 11 am before interment. www.niedfuneralhome.com
