Obituary of Marlane Grandizio

Marlane (Colondrea) Grandizio Age 82, on Friday, April 15, 2022 of Swissvale after an extended hospital and hospice stay from surgery complications. Daughter of the late Joseph (Herbie) and Ethel Colondrea. Longtime fiancé of the late Salvatore (Sully) Amodeo. Sister of Joseph (Quizzy) Colondrea and the late Joan (Ronald) Medlin. Loving mother of John, Lisa (Larry) Bivens, Joan, Joseph (Lisa), Robert (Rose) and 'other mother' to daughter June Amodeo. Loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren (Justin, Austin, Tyler, Lisa, Brandon, Michael, Sarah, Salina, Joshua, Eric, Phoenix and Lacey) and 8 great grandchildren. Also will be missed by her niece Joan Baker, nephews Joseph, Troy and Chad Colondrea and many cousins. Marlane enjoyed spending time with her family and friend Marion Kralovic, manicures and pedicures, trips to the casino and lunch at Flowers in the Attic or Brady's and holiday gatherings. Family and friends received 2 - 8 pm Monday only at the THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7441 Washington St., Swissvale. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday morning at 10:00 am.
