Marian J. Harkins of Swissvale on Tuesday, April 5, 2022.  Daughter of the late Regis and Mary Harkins, loving sister of Regis J. Harkins, Jr. and his wife Eva of Virginia, and Kathleen Weisbrod of Pittsburgh.  Dearest Aunt Mar to Regis W. Harkins, Paul J. Harkins, Mark J. Weisbrod and his wife Leslie, and Emily Headley and her husband Bret.  Marian loved and was loved by great-nieces and nephews as well.

Marian retired from Shadyside Hospital as a nurse after more than 30 years.  Always a nurturer, she treasured her community and cultivated lasting friendships.  From high school friends to beloved cousins, Marian readily laughed and celebrated with those around her. She was a lifelong member of St. Anselm-Word of God Church, embracing the generosity of her faith.  Marian was an avid reader and supporter of the arts.
