Obituary of Clarence Joseph Angelo

Clarence Joseph Angelo, 86, (fondly known as CJ) of Monroeville, peacefully passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at UPMC East Hospital. CJ was born July 9, 1935, in Pittsburgh to the late Louis and Josephine (Mineo) Angelo. Besides his parents, CJ was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Louis Angelo. CJ was a proud and hardworking man that loved and lived for his family. He lost sight at age 47 but was very determined to live his life to the very fullest. With his strong will, perseverance and positive attitude, he never let anything get in his way. One of his favorite sayings was "I WILL NOT BE DENIED". CJ was loved and admired by all who knew him. CJ is the father of Anito Angelo of Monroeville, Gina (Michael) Corso of Monroeville. He is survived by three grandchildren, Briana Marusko, Joseph (Shannon) Marusko and Marisa (Vincenzo) DiBerarino; five great-grandchildren, Mason, Marco, Mara, Toni and Vito. The family will receive friends and family from 1-4 and 5-8 pm on Thursday, February 10, 2022, with a Christian Service at 11:00 am on Friday, February 11, 2022. Both will be held at the NIED FUNERAL HOME, 7441 Washington St., Swissvale, PA 15218.
