Ronald Dean Killcrece,
Age 76, of Swisshelm Park, died surrounded by family on January 10, 2022. He was the beloved son of the late William and Marcella (Ackerman) Killcrece. Ronald is survived by his wife, Anita (Potente), children Ronette Blake, Anita Hershberger, and Cherie Walker, sons-in-law Cooper Blake, Scott Hershberger, Shane Walker, siblings William (Claudia) Killcrece, Karen Vogel, and the late Robert Killcrece, and eight grandchildren. Ronald proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1967 in the Vietnam War. He married Anita Potente in 1981. Ronald was a general contractor, and he was known for his meticulous work and the ability to fix just about anything. He loved making people laugh, adored spending time with his grandchildren, and he was sure to make a friend anywhere he went. Ronald also enjoyed spending countless hours helping his daughters make repairs on their homes. Funeral service private by request of the family. Arrangements entrusted by the Thomas L. Nied Funeral Home, Swissvale, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
