On November 30, 2021 of Deltona, FL, formerly of Swissvale, age 82. Loving father of Cindy and her husband Bruce (Stanley), Diana, and Clyde Jr. and his wife, Heather and their mother and former wife, Carol. Dear Pap-Pap to Amanda and Julia Stanley and Sarah, Clyde III and Emma Wilhelm. Brother of the late Diane Kiefer and survived by his sisters, Gloria (Steve) Joyce, Corrine (Joe) Balena and Becky (Rege) Brodie, many nieces and nephews and his dearest friend, Toni Mongelli. Clyde was a proud graduate of Connelley Vocational High School in 1957, spent 25 years with the Sheet Metal Workers Union and was proud to have worked on many major iconic Pittsburgh landmarks such as the former Civic Arena and the U.S. Steel Building. He worked for Limbach Company in the field and as a draftsman, later serving as the General Manager for Scalise Industries. After relocating to Florida in 1984, he worked for Halliday Products in Orlando, FL until retirement in 2001. Clyde loved the outdoors and taught his children and nephews many things, including hunting and fishing. As an alcoholic in recovery for 39 years, he dedicated much of his time helping others overcome battles with alcoholism. As a believer in Christ, he was relieved to be called home to eternal rest. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, December 3, 2021 at the THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7441 Washington St., Swissvale.
