ANGELICA C. (DAMIN) TROVATO age 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, of Regent Square. Beloved wife of 58 years to Ross Trovato; loving mother of Carmen Trovato and his wife, Tina of Upper St. Clair, Annette Petrone and her husband, John of Upper St. Clair and Anthony Trovato and his wife, Pamela of the North Hills; dear Nonna of Bella Angelica, Ross, Tiona, Taleigh, Raymond and Daniella; sister of the late Dean Damin, Norina Vrabel, Romeo Damin and Jerry Damin. Angelica is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews. She worked as a Pediatric Nurse at Mercy Hospital, the former Columbia Hospital and Shuman Center. Angelica loved to travel, Aruba being one of her favorite destinations. Family was very important to her and she cherished time spent with family and friends. Friends received 2-8 pm THURSDAY ONLY at the THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7441 Washington St., Swissvale. Mass of Christian Burial in the St. James Roman Catholic Church, in Wilkinsburg, on Friday morning at 10 am with Reverend Thomas J. Burke Officiating. Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 10th at 12:30 p.m. in the Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Please meet at the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. www.niedfuneralhome.com
