Robert W. "Bob" Greene
Age 95, on Monday, April 12, 2021 of Churchill. Beloved husband of the late Grace K. Greene. Loving father of Linda A. Greene; grandfather of Brady G. Martin (Heather); great-grandfather of Mac Oliver Martin and Lily Grace Martin. Also missed by his "best friend", his dog Jake. Bob retired from Mine Safety with 35 years of service. Also served his country proudly in the Army during WWII, where he received the Bronze Medal and the WWII Victory Medal, and reenlisted during the Korean War. Bob and Grace enjoyed entertaining and always loved having people at the house. Friends received 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Thursday only at the THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME INC. 7441 Washington Street, Swissvale. Service at the funeral home Friday morning at 11 A.M. www.niedfuneralhome.com
