Charles O. "Moe" Peterson, Jr. At age 83, at home with family; his beloved wife, Joyce (Thompson) Peterson; son of the late Nell Peterson; beloved dad of Kyle Peterson; loving Pap-Pap to Stephen, Leslie and Olivia Peterson; beloved brother of Karen Peterson. Moe retired from PPG Industries as Director of Technical Services and Product Development after 30 years. He loved going “up the lakes” to Lake Erie, his favorite vacation with his family. An avid College Football fan, especially of the Pitt Panthers, he had season tickets for 52 years. Moe was proud that four generations graduated from Slippery Rock University, he, his mother, son and two grandchildren. One of his hobbies was his first car, his '53 Cadillac, which he enjoyed driving and taking to car shows. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday only at the THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7441 Washington St., Swissvale.
