Mary S. (Tigano) Carretta On Tuesday, January 5, 2021, of Turtle Creek, formerly of Wilkinsburg. Beloved wife of 60 years to Frank A. Carretta; loving mother of Jan Carretta of North Versailles, Randy Carretta and his wife, Melanie of Whitehall and Jackie Manoleras and her husband, Mark, of Beaver; dear Gram of Melody and her husband, Bob, Randy and his wife, Natalie, Nicole, Matthew, Brooklynn, Maria and the late Storm; great-grandmother of Camryn, Chloe, Presley and Mila. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and dearest cousin, Laura Visco, who was like a daughter to her. Mary was a Eucharistic Minister and highly active in her St. James Parish in Wilkinsburg. Mary's door was always open to family and friends where she hosted many large family dinners and family gatherings. Throughout her life, she was dedicated to her children and their activities. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday only at the THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7441 Washington St., Swissvale.
