Obituary of Antonette A. Lisovich

Antonette Lisovich Antonette (Tonie) Lisovich age 84 passed on December 19th, 2020 at Seneca Place in Penn Hills, PA. Jerome (Jerry) Lisovich age 86 shortly followed Tonie on December 29th in his home (Penn Hills PA) Wife/Husband and bestfriends of 62 years. Tonie graduated Shadyside Nursing School followed by a career as an OR surgical nurse at Shadyside hospital. Tonie moved to Children's Hospital to work in both the OR and ER. She ended her 46 year nursing career as a phone nurse at CCP Pittsburgh. Tonie was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Maurice Parish. Jerry went to Carnegie Tech on a football scholarship from Charleroi High school. Jerry, a Korean Army Veteran entered service in 1957 and retired as a Sargent, his specialty was Surface to Air MSL Elec Assy. When he returned from the Army he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh. He then went on to found his own company, Datanetics. Jerry was a member of the rotary club and AMA. He was a founding member of Rescue 8. Tonie was a founding member of Rescue 8. Jerry and Tonie were the essence of love. They were the heart and soul of their family, sacrificing everything just to have all of us together. They never knew a stranger and welcomed everyone with open arms. Tonie and Jerry were dedicated parents and grandparents first and foremost. Living their life to the full extent and soaking in all the memories. Tonie, always greeting everyone with a smile and open arms, Jerry always being there for you and doing anything to make you laugh. Tonie and Jerry are survived by their children, Michael (Mai) Lisovich, Christopher Lisovich (Lindsey), Matthew Sr. (Diane) Lisovich, Amy Mroz, Frank Lisovich (Jill), Chuck (Tonya) Lisovich, Mark (Donna) Lisovich Grandchildren: David (Stephanie), Janice (Greg), Joshua, Thomas, Alaina, Michele, Kennedy, Kole, Jessica (Justin), Christopher John (CJ), Dylan, Mercedes (Dilan), Matthew Jr., Mason, Vincent, Sara, Nicholas, Phuong, Trung, Maranda, Tyler, Charles Joseph (CJ) 9 Great Grandchildren: Faith, Anthony Jude, Avery, Jaxon, Lainey, Maverick, Tanner, Logan, and Zoie. The Family will hold a viewing at the Thomas L. Nied Funeral Home, Inc. 7441 Washington Street Swissvale, PA on Sunday, January 3, 2020 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Maurice Parish on Monday January 4, 2020 at 10 a.m. followed by graveside service at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 97 Sacred Heart Road Monongahela PA 15063.
