Obituary of Thomas P. Judge

Please share a memory of Thomas to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Thomas P. "Tom" Judge age 68, of Munhall, formerly of Swissvale, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020. Beloved husband of 41 years to Maggie (Inglis) Judge; loving father of Hugh Vincent, Gordon Inglis (Alison), Thomas Patrick, Jr. and Jamison Francis all of Munhall; devoted grandfather of George and Charlie; brother of Debbie (Rhoda) Rodibaugh and the late George Vincent and Frances Ann Judge; he is also survived by nieces and nephews. Tom made our lives happy with his sense of humor and ability to make us laugh. He was the master of nicknames Pillows (obviously), Rita, Schwago, Grigs, Coat, Balloo, Bit, Fish Fry, Cha-wee, being a few of his favorites. We can't speak for Christmas tree or car salesman, but the rest of those who met Tom will miss him dearly. Tom was a wonderful father, grandfather, and friend. He was loved much by anyone who ever met him. For 41 years, he had his best friend and the love of his life, Maggie, by his side. Their love for each other was so apparent that it inspired people to say so.Tom lived to laugh and to love. Anybody and everybody was always welcome at The Judge House. The more, the merrier — everyone would be offered more food and booze than they could ever eat or drink, and they probably laughed harder than they had since the last time they saw Tom Judge. Tom was an award winning chef. His sandwiches, chili, and Thanksgiving turkey were phenomenal, and he shared his passion for cooking with his boys and grandsons. We will miss him singing karaoke, making bow ties out of plastic bags for his pets, visiting Dive at least once a week, and all the fun he brought to our lives. I see trees of green, red roses too, I see them bloom for me and you. And I think to myself what a wonderful world. — "I wrote that," Tom Friends received Wednesday 3-8 p.m. and Thursday 9 a.m. -12 p.m. at the Thomas L. Nied Funeral Home, Inc. 7441 Washington Street Swissvale, PA where a funeral service will be held Thursday at noon. www.niedfuneralhome.com.
